Hands-on session on CT dosimetry
Wide beam CT scanners can introduce practical challenges for dosimetry measurements. In addition, different techniques (ie IEC3.1 guidline) and types of instrumentation (ie 100mm pencil chamber, RTI CT Dose Profiler, LoniMover, etc) are out there. The goal of this practical session is to all share how we perform these measurements in clinical routine. Consider this as a tips-and-tricks session where we ALL learn from each other.
Intended for: BHPA MPE’s and MPE interns with an interest in CT imaging
We have at our disposal: GEHC Revolution Apex scanner (256x0.625mm)
When: November 18th 2025, 10u-14u
Location: UZ Brussel (Jette)
If you want to participate, please send a mail to David.VanHee@uzbrussel.be, not later than November 7th. Please also specify the type of dosimetry equipment you can bring with you.
For practical reasons, places are limited to 10 people.
