annual Autumn meeting BESTRO
Dear colleague,
We invite you to attend the annual Autumn meeting in Dolce La Hulpe / Terhulpen on the 9th of October 2020. The main theme of this edition is "Metastases: From Palliation to curative intent".
In view of the current COVID-19 situation, the BeSTRO board has decided to change the format to a one day hybrid event on Friday 09th of October 2020. You can either choose to attend the meeting in person or through streaming from your (home) office.
The registration deadline has been postponed to the 04th of October 2020 (23:59).
We hope to see you as numerous as possible. Of course, we will do everything to keep it safe.

Business meeting
During this meeting, the several national societies involved in radiation oncology, namely BeSTRO, BARO, BRAVO and the College will present their work, goals, accomplishments,… This meeting is scheduled after the scientific sessions and is open to the members of BeSTRO-BARO.
Junior abstracts
Junior members have been invited to present their abstract and have received an invitation accordingly.
After this session, the prize for the best abstract and presentation will be awarded.
Studies in Belgian Radiation Oncology departments
Radiation oncology departments that are conducting a study or are planning to start a study and would like to invite other departments to collaborate with them, can give a short presentation during this Autumn meeting. A time slot of 5 minutes is allocated per study/department with a maximum of 4 studies that can be presented.
Abstracts have to be submitted on the 16th of September at the latest.
Social event
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, we will neither organize a social event, nor a dinner.
Registration
Registration is open and is possible until the 04th of October (23:59). Below you will find an overview of the registration fees. The fee includes the breaks and lunch.
You can either choose to attend live or through streaming.
The BeSTRO hopes to stimulate fruitful interactions between participants, and also between participants and the sponsors. Therefore we hope that you will consider, where possible, to ideally participate in person in La Hulpe. All necessary hygienic and social distancing measures have been taken. Please bring your own face mask. Online participation is however also possible. In that case, you will receive details how to connect a few days in advance.
Some important registration instructions:
- Only registrations through the website (this link) are valid once fully completed ((online) payment).
- The promotional junior price appears in the 3rd step "Add people".
- Don't forget to "Add yourself" in the 3rd step.
- In the 3rd step, you have to select the requested session indicated by the location:

*Non-members cannot register via the website. They have to send an e-mail to our secretariat and will receive a registration form afterwards.
