NCS Pre-publication QA in Brachytherapy

Dear colleagues,

At the request of some Dutch colleagues who are involved with brachytherapy, the NCS subcommittee dealing with QA of afterloader brachytherapy has devised an early publication concerning QA of transfer tubes and applicators and their life time.

The NCS board has read the publication and approved it for early publication. The pre-publication can be found on their part of the NCS website: http://radiationdosimetry.org/qa-of-afterloaders-for-brachytherapy under ‘Preliminary Report’.

Note that this pre-publication is being revised frequently, at least every 6 months, until the final report has been delivered.
